TrinityStar was set up in 2002 and consists of two operating divisions.
The Marine Division, which provides training in marine radar and electronic navigation primarily for Raymarine as well as consultancy and equipment evaluation for manufacturers and publications such as Practical Boat Owner.
The Consultancy Division specialises in providing technical and strategic advice on the transition of television broadcasting systems from analogue to digital.
Projects to date have covered the establishment of business cases, costing options, spectrum issues, choice of system and transition strategies.
Clients include UK and EU Broadcasters, transmission operators, regulators and government departments.
Currentl the consultancy division is operating the Office of the Adjudicator, Broadcast Transmission which oversees the transmission of radio and TV in the UK.
